For track use the car is "only" 1.2M DKr, taxed and registered it is 4.2M DKr, so almost 3M DKr (600.000 AUD) in taxes alone. Many Danes register their super cars in neighbouring Sweden to avoid the taxes, and many Swedes buy brand new cars and export them from Denmark as the ex tax price is lower in Denmark than the ex-tax prices in Sweden. 25% VAT only is added when registering in Sweden.
