A networking event, a play ground for fun loving Australians, their toys and an opportunity for a handful of selcted sponsors, this is Auzrun.
A 6 day adventure starting in Adelaide and finishing on the Gold Coast in March 2010.
Strictly aimed at non-competitive individuals and couples who enjoy great cars, 5 star hotels, long open roads and out of this world experiences.
Entrants will depart Adelaide in their car and enjoy the outstanding route all the way to the Gold Coast stopping over at the following destinations; Torquay, Melbourne, Sydney, and finishing up on the Gold Coast. All Auzrunners will also have the opportunity to legally put their skills to the test with the two track events being held at Sandown near Melbourne and at Eastern Creek near Sydney.
The entry fee
$13,495 + GST
The Entry fee includes 7 nights accommodation in all of the locations being visited in 5 star hotels. Auzrun will be staying at The Hyatt in Adelaide, Peppers Resort in Torquay, The Crown Casino in Melbourne, The Shangri-la in Sydney and The Marriot on the Gold Coast.
With a full buffet breakfast provided each morning and an amazing selection of canapés and drinks upon arrival at each destination, you will also receive entrées, mains and desserts served by the hotels top chefs for dinner in the exclusive Auzrun ballroom (did we mention that each night is themed!).
The entry fee will also cover both track events which at Eastern Creek also includes the Drag Strip and the Skid pan as well as the race way. What’s your best ¼ mile?
At our stop over at the Crown Casino the gambler will come out with an Auzrun exclusive poker tournament where the first prize is $15,000 cash!
With the night life set to take off having entertainment provided each night, a team of 8 Auzrun party girls also along for the journey, a massive launch party in Adelaide and an even bigger closing party planned for the Gold Cost entrants will need a holiday to get over the massive event that is Auzrun.
All the drivers need to think about is their team name, the fuel gauge, the views, the fuel gauge again, the networking opportunities and the open road with 49 other Supercars and their owners!
