We have had some amazing cars at the Burrows Days over the years, but I really think the September event took the cake. Two cars in particular drew the attention of all in pit lane – one is the most outrageously styled cars of our time, whilst the other marked an era in racing where only brave men dare tread!

We had two tuned Porsches from Techart for 2.5 days in Leonberg, Germany. First day was on a big airfield (which we shared with some prototype Mercs – no pics allowed) which enabled us to let loose.

Nissan defends legitimacy of GT-R supercar’s record lap time against suspicions raised by rival Porsche.
Nissan has hit back at suspicions raised by Porsche this week that the record Nurburgring lap time set by the GT-R supercar was achieved in anything other than a standard showroom-specification car.
The matter has reached top brass at Nissan, with its European spokesman at the Paris motor show today confirming the matter has gone ”quite high” up in the company.

The world we live in with global automotive forums it sometimes feels like we’re all part of the same community, but it’s always amazing to see how much the people you’re chatting to online are actually paying for their cars.
Ever sat there and wondered what’s the most expensive country to buy a prestige car is? What about the cheapest?
For this study, I chose the latest and greatest offering from Stuttgart, the Porsche 997 GT2. A big reason for this is that those Germans are so good at organisation that every one of their websites are basically identical and good for reference.
The 996 GT2 was a sensational machine, it’s hard to fathom how much better it can get, but from all reports it’s significant!
Well, enough jibber-jabber, here’s the stats:

Going through stuff since rebuilding the gallery, came across this interesting little sequence of shots from Exotics in the Outback ‘05…
mhh and i were on the side of the road with the gallardo and scud drives by in the GT2. i’m taking photos of them going by, and Cam is taking pics of us standing by the side of the road… anyhoo, let the pics tell the story…
