We had two tuned Porsches from Techart for 2.5 days in Leonberg, Germany. First day was on a big airfield (which we shared with some prototype Mercs – no pics allowed) which enabled us to let loose.

Another great day at Eastern Creek was had by all.
But not long after I got there I was asked to stand in for the official track photographer that couldn’t make it. So I was torn between camera and car… oh what a dilemma.
Anyways, the results are more “lifestyle” shots rather than the usual “just another car zooming past” stuff.

The world we live in with global automotive forums it sometimes feels like we’re all part of the same community, but it’s always amazing to see how much the people you’re chatting to online are actually paying for their cars.
Ever sat there and wondered what’s the most expensive country to buy a prestige car is? What about the cheapest?
For this study, I chose the latest and greatest offering from Stuttgart, the Porsche 997 GT2. A big reason for this is that those Germans are so good at organisation that every one of their websites are basically identical and good for reference.
The 996 GT2 was a sensational machine, it’s hard to fathom how much better it can get, but from all reports it’s significant!
Well, enough jibber-jabber, here’s the stats:
