Discussion in the Australian Lamborghini forums.
Someone bribed the BOM and delivered us a perfectly sunny day, cos as I write this less than an hour after the run it’s pissing down with rain – which would have been enough to decimate today’s record turnout of Raging Bulls for fear of melting.

2x Countach

Discussion in the Muscle Car forums.
Two 1968 390 CID V8 Ford Mustangs (325 bhp) were used for the chase scene, both owned by Ford Motor Company and part of a promotional loan agreement with Warner Bros. The Mustangs’ engines, brakes and suspensions were heavily modified for the chase by veteran car racer Max Balchowsky. Ford Motor Company had also originally loaned two Ford Galaxie sedans that were intended to be used in the chase scenes, but the producers found the cars entirely too heavy to put through jumps over the hills of San Francisco without the suspensions of the cars being severely damaged. The Galaxie sedans were replaced with two 1968 440 CID/375 bhp Dodge Chargers that were bought outright from Glendale Dodge in Glendale, California. The engines in both Chargers were left largely unmodified, but the suspensions were upgraded to cope with the demands of the stunt work.

Lamborghinis factory in SantAgata Bolognese, Italy is building its fastest car ever the Murcielago SV, of which just 350 will be made.
The $450,000 Murcielago SV launches from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 212 miles per hour.
The factory builds the car almost entirely by hand including its engine and body.
The car is also painted and assembled by hand, including installation of the famous Lamborghini scissor doors.
Every car is custom-built to order, and only 2.7 cars are completed per day.

Discussion in the Australian Ferrari forums.
Marco records another trackday organised by Ferrari at the Ferrari Challenge event at the Imola racetrack. It was such a sunny and nice day that a lot of Ferraris decided to join the event. First i record them parked, but then they start and rev the engines ready to be pulled to the limit into the racetrack.
