They are used for sitting in central London traffic by rich older guys who no longer fit in anything else to commute to Milton Keynes or some such similar place thats a 'safe' area to raise your children.
Stand on a central London corner at 5:03pm and look for yourself.

I have a female friend looking to import a relatives DB7 from the UK, anyone recommend an agent/company to ship through? Who should she talk to first about how to bring it in, a shipping agent, the RAWS guys or someone else?

First of all how are they going to import it, as a personal import and if so do they meet all the rules?

http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/vehicles/imports/

We shipped a car from the UK in a 20ft, I'll see if I can find the agent's details.

Why would you bother with personal import when these can get raws compliance????
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

The only thing she had checked was that she could get raws compliance on it, thats how she planned on bringing it in.

$20,000 and a she'd load of time. Is the reason.

Personal imports don't require the full compliance for registration.
May the Horse be with you....

And raws takes stuff all time, less than 2 weeks
