HI guys

I was wondering what the running costs (not including tyres) of a 6.5 Vantage is.
Yes I know it is an open ended question but a bull park would be great

thanks in advance
p.s. I am comparing to a 911

I don't think it should be too much more expensive. But I would find your own independent Aston Martin specialist to maintain them if you are woried about costs. I'd be more concern about the value it looses than maintenance costs though.
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

Yes I understand the depreciation is massive, that I can guess a figure on but I didn't know if they were lambo and Fessa running costs or 911 BMW costs, I don't know much about the brand

It's more expensive than a 911 - mainly because you can only "officially" service it at Trivett (whom I don't have a good r'ship with at all).

i have two mates with 'em ... one is a roadster, one is a coupe. the roadster has been in for warranty work 4 or 5 times in the first year. the coupe has been better although a new clutch set him back 9k I think. I always thought manual was the way to go there... :)

Might also help if we know if you are buying from new or 2nd hand.

I can't imagine maintenance being at fez or lambo prices, but in all honesty I get my fez serviced and replace the timing belt cheaper than taking my CLS merc to the merc dealer for basically a glorified oil change.

If trivette is the only place to service them without voiding warranty then the answer to your question is basically "how long is a piece of string?"

$9k for a clutch???? Gallardo clutch is $5k and that is a bugger of a job to do, 360 clutch is about $4k if not cheaper. Then again if you took the lambo and fez to the dealer the prices would be $10-$12kish right?
