i didn't read the whole thing, i'm assuming it is a RWD, the power figures don't seem right:

358kw 644NM gets 4.0sec 0-100

480kw 820NM gets 3.4 sec 0-100

a 7 speed auto sounds like it is lifted right out of a German car.... auto really????? on a supercar?
6 speed manual is probably a HSV special leftover from 10 years ago.....

They don't have a real running version of the car with the "right engine" as they say so I really doubt any of these proposed figures are true.... we all knew from the heading of this thread that it would be another  failed aussie supercar, every year there is a new aussie supercar and as someone pointed out earlier, they never get produced

Looks like a 80s kit car ....

Hopefully one of these get up:

Gotta love the Joss.  None of the "news" releases have dates - that would just be too embarrassing.

They might as well announce the ugly POS will have a nuclear reactor as its propulsion source.

Oh, and the others (including anything FF has alluded to) will never happen.

Amen.  In fact, I think I'll light a joss stick for it right now. :D

The Joss actually was for me the one to fall into the "most likely" basket of all of the efforts in the last 20yrs..... it actually looks ok.

But alas, no dice.

Interesting collection

The Spartan is just a track car and strangley chose to use a Ducati engine not Japanese.
Makes it more of a Ducati enthusiast toy than a real race car.

The Joss figures just dont add up.
0 - 100 kph in 3.0 yet 1/4 mile in 11.9 @ 130 mph
11.9 @ 130 is saying that the car doesnt get traction yet 0 - 100 in 3.0 says it gets great traction.
If it hits 100 in 3.0s then the 1/4 mile should be a high 9 or low 10 second.

The Redback is uglier than a Cayenne and been around long enough that if it was gonna be released, it would be.

It will, the one I have an involvement with, that is. Trust me. Because it's not like any of the others.

By the time Australia gets a supercar, the supercharged V8 Atom will be widely available here at a fraction of the price....

I know someone trying to get ADR for building the Ariel Atom in AUstralia, but who really knows if they will ever get it or if they will run out of money and/or drive to follow it to the end.

Time will tell...
