These babies aren't cheap.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Diners, Amex and large brown paper bags of cash.
The Redback is sold as a fully built turn key car (ie. no kits). As a starting point, around $AU 320K should get you into one (provided you own your own road)

At this stage the Redback is not road registerable (however we are planning to have the full compliance work done in the future). The Redback is an ideal car for club days or events on controlled roads.

Of course $AU 320K covers just the basic configuration of a 900Kg, 450HP Chev LS1, 6 speed manually shifted grunter, giving a paltry 0 to 100Kmh in a whisker over 3 seconds.

If you would like titanium glove box door, moon rock door handles or a WW2 Spitfire V12 engine then the price might climb just a bit.

It's actually VERY hard to design a commercially BUILDABLE good looking car. And it DOES cost quite a LOT more.

But it IS being done.

This thing looks like a rip off Ultima GTR, roof/bubble and rear deck etc...

is that what it is?

Run, don't walk............... and don't look back.

He was optimistic in the first place for thinking the car would sell. He's only made 3 or something like that.

No it's not, give me a chassis and I'll design something around it.
Or I'll design a good looking car and you can design a chassis to fit.
Designing the fitting of the panels etc can be tricky but no more difficult than designing an ugly car.

You may think it's easy, but I can assure you it's not.

I'd love to tell you more, but I can't, you'll just have to wait.

Concept cars ARE easy, functional buildable marketable cars, are not.

There's a 4 inch thick ADR build regualtion book to satisfy, for a start.
