As history has constantly shown us, only the strong survive, and in honour of the Spartans - the most superior fighting machine the world has ever seen, a supercar has been passionately developed that exudes their very principles.

Their passion and commitment have seen them develop one of the fastest and lightest track cars in the world today, the Spartan-V.

The throaty sound of Ducati’s powerful 1198 V-Twin engine as it roars into life. Feel the vibrations as your senses go into overload… you are focused… your heart is pounding and… your palms have started to sweat.

Catapulted to 100km/h in less than 3 seconds, your mind is struggling to keep up with the sheer acceleration as your body takes control and you realise for the very first time what it means to be ‘at one with the car’.

The powerful Ducati 1198 engine with its 170hp is at the heart and soul of this very special car. Combined with its super-lightweight construction, low centre of gravity and spectacular braking, it makes for one hell of a drive. Phenomenal cornering performance is enhanced with switchable electronic traction control making you the master of your domain.

Designed and developed for the purist wanting the ultimate driving experience, the Spartan-V has been born and bred as a true roadster with no roof, no doors and just a small speedster-style windscreen.

It is said that when the ancient Spartans strapped on their armor they turned from men into machines with a mystical air of invincibility. When you climb into the cockpit of a Spartan–V you will understand what they felt.

Specifications 

The styling of the Spartan-V is raw and minimalistic - Spartan. Carbon-fibre body panels with quick-release Dzus fasteners, fully-adjustable racing shock absorbers and exposed suspension components reinforce the aggressive form and function of the product.

The chassis is not only lightweight but extremely tough. The tubular spaceframe design provides superior stiffness and has the signature trellis look, reminiscent of the Ducati motorcycle frame design. The two chrome rollbars are removable so you can add an FIA-approved single rollbar for competition use. There are no paddle shifts, just a traditional chrome gear stick and round knob. The pedal box can be adjusted quickly as can the steering to truly make the driver at one with the car. The exhaust exits via a raw carbon-fibre diffuser that sits below the see-through mesh panel that allows you to see the engine, chassis and suspension.

Also, it looks great from those photos.  But why can't they take a picture of the whole car rather than just close ups and wierd angles?

I'm guessing it won't be street-legal though.

Googling his name does't come up with anything car related?

Pity the Elfin Streamliner didn't look like this, with Tom Walkinshaw backing it would be a winner.

Did the Redback Spyder ever get an order?

I'm guessing it won't be street-legal though.

Thats what I thought about the Ariel Atom, but very soon the Atom is going to get NSW compliance, a little birdy told me so.  :cool:

It really should have lights though, most racing is done during the day, but there is still enough that happen at night.

Only been hearing that for 4 years now.

I have seen it getting engineered (sitting in a Sydney established Raws workshop), the guys recon it isn't too far off now, i'll take a photo of it next time, I didn't take a photo when I saw it. I visited there place 2 months ago and the car wasn't there, today it is there so it has only come in recently.
Aparently they have 90 shows of interest (what I was told, not sure if it is exagerated or not), but they say they'll get it through.

I guess time will tell though, i'm still a little sceptical myself but if anyone could do it these guys could, they are the first to comply a lot of different models.
