Thanks, good viewing. Those early bikes have character unmatched by modern sports bikes.

My 1956 BSA Gold Star and my 1969 Triumph US spec T120 I sold Bonnie last year it let me down twice so it was time to go.

In India, all rented short term new and old 350 and 500s and in different states of modification. All had varying levels of scary when you need to brakes and or a sudden change of direction. Having said that I have a 636 here so it's hardly a fair comparison. If you take it real easy and just tootle around they're fine.

I've done the Bay to Birdwood a few times on the Goldie, closed roads sounds great and sweet to ride; with a whiff of Castrol R it is a joy ride in the hills. The long 1st gear of the RRT2 gearbox makes it hard work around the city though.
