What are the best BMW forums?  Mercedes have a couple of excellent ones but I've had no luck finding a decent general BMW one.

Most of the better forums I have found have been model specific viz :

E9s - 3.0CS,CSL etc - http://www.e9coupe.com/

my favourite BMW 2002 website and associated forums : - http://www.bmw2002.co.uk/

e24 6 series forum : http://bigcoupe.com/

Any BMW M5 - http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/
found a German pdf pricelist on the soon to be released 1 series M Coupe - Euro 50K  - bet that once arrived down under BMW Australia will price it around $120K!!!

Most of the above forums based in UK and USA with small "local" following.

As for more "general" forums, the only one I have found reasonable is at bimmerforums (much like MBWorld which I think u r on too mhh??)

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/index.php

For local/downunder content :
BMW Car Club Victoria probably has a reasonable forum
http://www.bmwccv.com.au/forums/
EuroCarClub of Australia have a fairly strong local BMW contingent :

http://forums.eurocca.net/content.php

only downside to above is it is starting to get into the "younger 'uns" modifying and "ricing" their BMs etc.  :scared:

Locally in SA, the BMW Drivers club since last year has been trying to make a resurgence. Run by some reasonable young blokes, there are some in it who are into "blinging" their cars  - nothing wrong with it, just not my cuppa tea as I just prefer keeping cars as close to original as possible and maintaining their "classic" features.  :p

Hope above helps! If u find any others worthwhile, please post!  (I just have a psychiatric illness with BMW obsession one of the main symptoms!  :D )

Yeah, problem with BMW is they have such a range of cars from old model 3s that you can get on the dole through to near half mil cars, so it's too hard to have a real "general" bimmer forum, which is why I try to keep this place mostly dedicated to the high-end stuff, but a bit of banter about some classics is cool.

I'll have to update the BMW owners resources thread when I get a chance: http://aussieexotics.com/forum/bmw-m-power/bmw-owners-5167.0.html

I went to a eurocca meet. About 15 cars all with p plates. I was near double their age i am only a baby myself.

Bimmerforums and e46fanatics are the best and probably the biggest

M3forum is the best for m3 knowledge but there is aggressive moderation there which makes the experience unpleasant.

M5board for m5 is the best I've seen

M3post is also good.
