I'm wondering if the new dealer employed anyone from the old dealer, found new qualified staff or sent off some BMW guys for Ferrari training?

Its a wonder that he hasnt gone back, unless he's worked in Dubai the recent heat would have been a shock to his system.

Thats interesting. If it wasnt for this forum I wouldnt even know that Adelaide had a new dealership. Maybe the marketing manager, if they have one, should have got the boot first.

Are you serious?
If it's who I think it is I'll be cancelling my upcoming service and taking the car to Mario at Veloce, who was recommended by a bunch of guys in the club (and who I'd forgotten until mentioned in this thread).

well its not entirely their fault, Hindley st is closed off until Sept 2014, so if you didn't drive down you wouldn't know there is a dealership anyway.

and I agree, they haven't exactly promoted the dealership

Hi all.
Just digging up an oldie here to hopefully get some local knowledge.
Quick intro - my name is Nick and I have an '01 E46 325i, a '90 E34 M5 and an '89 E34 535i.
I do most of my own spanner work but also use BMWise for the specialty or really time consuming jobs.
I need some fairly major work done on the S38 in the M5 - a classic domino series of events stemming from a rather epic oil leak.
It's probably going to be an engine out and head off proposition.
Should I trust this to BMWise or does the S38 really require an aforementioned "BMW Mastertech"?
I know from other forums that several of you have owned or still own S38/S14 powered M cars and may have some experience.
Thanks in advance.
Nick
