What happened to Darwin's theory of natural selection?  Clearly it's not working quick enough to keep up with the quantity and quality of this madness.

* Remaining calm - not going to rant *

Geez some people need to seriously get a life.   :irked:

quite clearly some people need to get out more

Mondi, a rant sometimes helps ;)

Why do any of these complaints win?  The ASB must be the most bureaucratic, PC and risk-averse body in OZ.  Why do we reject great ads likle the Z4 one when the rest of the world thinks its brilliant?  Are we so concerned to avoid upsetting anyone, even people with the daintiest sensibilities, that we will stop anyone being creative, innovative, intelligent or entrepreneurial?  Sounds like a society that seeks mediocrity and monotony rather than rewarding progress and innovation.

Sounds like a society that seeks mediocrity and monotony...

Looked around and spoken to "average Joe" lately?  They're already here - have been forever.

I grew up reading the tomes of de Sade - set aside the Sadism stuff - his discourses on philosophy and frustration at a mundane society were as relevant in the 1700's as they would be now, it's just in that time they didn't have so many other cool things to distract you so the libertine lifestyle was one of few outlets. :p
