anyone here driven one of these? Your thoughts/opinions? It has the 3.2 engine from the E46 M3 and brakes from the CSL!

I think I drove an earlier model at Mallala on an M day that Adelaide Motors put on.  They had a hardtop and softtop with the then M3 engine.  It was a lot of fun.  More fun than the M3 but more of a handful.

I drove this black one today - at Adl Motors - took it up to norton summit - it was a heck of a lot of fun!!! Dilemma now is whether to get this at a reasonable price now or wait for the 1 series M-coupe! (replacing the 993 Cabrio!)

Now I remember the model.  I recall sitting in one in the showroom and being very tempted.  It just felt "right".  I never drove it though.  Road reports are mixed but I love the look and the rarity value.  If it is the right price, I'd go for it.  The "M1" should be fun too though but probably never a classic due to the host car being much more common.

unless of course they come up with the 1M Coupe CSL!!! Loosely based on the safety car at the MotoGP recently!

They want 75k for that one?

The look horn but didn't sell and BMW were almost giving them away when new.

I say go for it just for the engine. The s54 is a ripper
