Hi guys,
Would anyone know what bmw charges for the m performance exhaust on the m3. I'm considering a new m3 but the sound is something I would want to improve.
There's some good deals at the moment on new / near new m3s but I have a few options on my wish list that I would want on one and I'm concerned by the time I add them all on the purchase price could blow out.

Cheers.

Thanks mate. Pricey, but I was expecting it to be.

No worries, alternatively you could buy from the the U.S. From somewhere like getbmwparts at around $4kusd ex shipping and install yourself.

Being a new car I would prefer it's done directly by the dealer here. Last thing u want is something to go wrong then they won't fix it under warranty. If they do it and it breaks it's there responsibility.

As long as it is a genuine part it won't matter, nor will it matter who fits it, so long as it is done properly.  In any case your dealer won't have any issues in fitting a genuine part.

So is the akrapovic exhaust you purchase from Akro the same as the m performance exhaust you purchase from Bmw?

No, BMW won't honour any warranty issue which they can link back to an Akrapornovic.

Cheers mate. Will have to have a chat to the dealer when I start negotiating on one. Might be able to get a deal on a few options with the purchase price.
