Idiot should've taken it.
He's got the buyer on the hook at 146 so he can say no, squeeze his balls a bit and if that fails the 146 should still be there.

A car with multiple sets of wheels is not uncommon these days, especially in cars that are meant to be used for track and street.

If this guy is asking $169k private (obviously get him down more), why would they have passed on that auction price. Guess time will tell if their strategy works. Auctions rarely get a higher price for the same vehicle the next time around.

I would have thought $146k was a damn good price for a used M3 considering the buyer would have to pay a buyers premium on top of it plus stamp duty!

You have to say he's being greedy, the car supposedly cost him nothing in the first place.

Professional sports people arn't really the smartest tools in the shed.

I'm surprised it even got that much in the first place.   Another case of "my car is worth more than what people are willing to pay for it..... so i'll hold on to it and keep dreaming as the car looses more value".

I just had an email from a friend who was bidding on the car at auction and he recons Tomic wants over $200k for the car.

What an absolute moron.

Could just be a PR stunt to look good infront of the public or police etc....
