Wasnt there an M1 for sale in Oz not long ago, like early this year or late last year? It was probably left hand drive but not that expensive from memory.

if I were selling - would probably ship it to the US or EU to sell - they go for crazy money there!!

Depends what variety, normal M1s typically sell for around $US150,000 in the states.

Sigh!! Still a fair bit! They supposedly aren't that great to drive but for me - this was one of the toy model cars I used to play with daily!!

I thought the AHG cars went for over $200k!!!  Wow - there's hope yet to add to the collection!  :thumbsup:

The white one is (or was) owned by a member here, I'm catching up with his bff this week so will bring it up. The M1 is the only BMW that actually stirs something within me. I wish they would make another mid-engine car.

I think the i8 concept car is almost ready for production 2013!
