Hi everyone i am new to this but i need HELP. I just bought a '93 BMW 318i (my first Beema) and i have just found that my brake lights don't work. I have had a look and found that my indicators and reverse lights do work, the globes look fine and so does the fuse. I have very little automotive skills and have been told this problem could be the brake light switch. What is this and how do I fix it???? PLEASE HELP.

Realistically, head on over to this mob - you'll get an answer there.

almost certainly the brake light switch. Seeing as you don't have practical mechanical experience just take it to your mechanic and have him work it out for you.

If you're in Sydney then you can source the switch from Sydney Wide Euro Auto Spares ph. 9601 3355.

Last time i got one from there it was $35, plus whatever a mechanic charges you for labour
