Hi guyz/gals,

I will be a very proud owner of an E36 M3 soon. Will be sure to post pics when I get her home.

Great to be here & look forward to some discussions :)

Good one.  An 3 or 3.2?  Manual or SMG?

Use to have 97 3.2 manual.

Use to stop at bmw and stare through the glass for an hour every time they had one on the floor.

Still remember delivery day and first drive.

Thought it was epic.

Hi, tbo, this is my first Beema. I always admired these from afar when too I was a lot younger. Coming from a forced induction background ie: Subaru WRX; Mazda 3, I wasn't expecting the sheer performance of this. Quite a pleasant experience to be shoved hard into the pass seat from an NA car (present owner was driving).

Tbo, I won't be driving it so hard but rather, appreciating the heritage.

Is it going to get some future track time?
C'mon, do it!

Once I get used to it sure! Previous owner took it round Phillip Is. Pretty infrequently as I can gather. He's a little quite on that front although he did tell me his time but I'll have to grab it off him again. Phillip Is is close to where I'm located.

Sounds like it may have been more than infrequent if he has racing belts and slicks...   :)

Not that it really matters, I tracked my F360 often and maintained it well and it ran better than most garage queens I encountered.

Enjoy the new car, e46 is a great toy.

Yeah, he's maintained it pretty well & is a mechanic with a bit of a passion. I also know a mechanic who works on Beemas a bit so, hopefully I'll keep up the tradition & look after her. Thanks for replies & I know I'll enjoy it. Cheers again :)
