there's no way a crash like that was any kind of "accident"

I hope the passengers that died were not responsible for goading the driver into being the idiot, that he/she clearly was.

If they were, bad luck, they asked for it.

Video: Three killed in car crash (ABC News) Map: Werribee 3030 Two teenagers and a 22-year-old man are dead and another teenager is in hospital after a car crash at Werribee in Victoria's south.

Police say the driver lost control of the car and smashed into a power pole at the intersection of Bulban Road and Thoroughbred Avenue about 9:20am.

A 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl who were both in the back seat were thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The 22-year-old driver suffered critical injuries and died later in Melbourne's Alfred Hospital.

A second 16-year-old girl is in hospital in a stable condition.

Paramedic Darren Hodge says it was a shocking scene.

"To see a car that's almost torn in two by a light pole and then to see ambulance towels 50 metres away with people laying underneath them, it's terrible," he said.

"It's terrible for the people that heard that bang and would have come out to help."

Mr Hodge says the loss of the three young lives will have a huge impact on the community.

"There will probably be people getting a knock on their door by police right as we speak, being told that their children have been killed in a car accident," he said.

"The ripple effect that has on their community and their friends is horrific."

Investigations are underway into the crash.

No one deserves to die mate, you telling me you never go fast or have in the past??? Had they survived and killed someone else, then I agree, better the culprit...but when the driver looses it cold and kills two others, its bad for the passengers as the driver has to make a decision based on their driving skill/responsibility. Passengers are just that. Aa simple gee up by. The passenger does not mean they deserve death!

All, I've been an idiot on the road.

Then, one day, I grew up.

Yes, because you got your licence in Europe, under a better system which teaches you about the car and what can happen at high speeds.....getting your licence here is a joke!! Wanna get the road toll less?? Implement better driver education, kids here have no idea how to handle/drive a car....
