The motorsport-themed BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition has been confirmed for the Australian market this week, with only 10 of the 200 global units allocated to our market.

Essentially another version of the limited-edition M4 GTS launched earlier this year, the M4 DTM is even more exclusive, and celebrates the company’s 2016 drivers’ championship win in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM).

Like the M4 GTS, the M4 DTM is powered by an uprated version of the 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight six that powers ‘lesser’ M4 models, developing a meaty 368kW of power and 600Nm of torque – 51kW and 50Nm more than the standard variant.

We got a rather large number of them considering the build numbers.

Looks the goods.

Not nearly outlandish enough for a DTM badge :)

The old CLK DTM springs to mind.

Well, if the car isn't outlandish enough for the DTM badge, it's price certainly is.  $370k...

What a waste of a M4. Im sure you could do the work for cheaper on a 2nd hand one.
