I have got the dreaded Vanos rattle in my '98 M3 at only 110K.  :(

Has anyone had experience with fixing this? Is is not fierce loud yet but the car is noticeably down on midrange torque.

Found Dr Vanos http://www.drvanos.com/ on the net who does remanufactured Vanos units from the US of A. Any local experience with these guys?

Thanks for any input  :D
