Oh and if you take out resonator and put big cats on it sounds like a v8 supercar! ;-)

doc has the 4 door limited edition, nice car, great car

I still prefer the 6 cyl I had

the v8's are dropping in price,be careful of overhead gear, the heads on the v8 aren't made by rolls Royce like the 6cyl ones

Love that v8, will be the last of the n/a M engines.

Fyi: There is a current model pure coupe out that is around the $125 mark (manual) + options, might be worth negotiating on one of these.

Thanks for all the imput.

In regards to this being the last n/a v8 and in particular, maybe the only v8 m3 how do people think this might effect future value?

I'm certainly no expert, but my guess would be the value won't be any better or worse than any other previous M3 (other than say the E30 or CSL which are exceptions).

For me, the sound of the v8 at 8400rpm overrides any thought of its depreciation :)
