What does everyone think of the X6?

Since I first saw official photos of it, I thought it was hideously ugly... Then I saw the first UK Press Car back in January and seeing it in the flesh instantly changed my mind...

I still think that it doesn't look that good in most photos but do like it as a whole.
Still not 100% on the back end though. And an 8 speed sequential (I think) gear box is just rediculous...

Two friends of mine have them. One delivered last week and the other being delivered on Thursday.

So, what does everyone think of it?

big fan - looks only at this stage
hartge and hamann have released mods - chck them out.  v nice pics

i have an X5 which i do NOT like.
the last generation X5 was MUCH better than this generation

whether i buy an X6 depends on the fit and finish of the interior for the money.  waiting for specs of the V8 to be released

the V8 will be a 4.4L twin turbo, 400hp so about 298 or 300kw, 90hp per liter, 450NM of torque.

love the front, side, but still hate the rear, may change opinion when see it....

Zero appeal to me.  It isn't functional (no off road ability, small cabin and boot) doesn't go hard enough, looks silly (too tall) and is the "best handling 4X4 on the road" like that's an achievement.

I guess it must be cheap.
