20 years ago today Gregg lost his life at a Phillip island meeting.

RIP to a great champion both on 2/4 wheels a true gent missed by many.

i was there to,helping Bob with the Lola,was total silence over the track when it was announced over the PA,i think from memory he was nudged by another car into the wall .

That they announced it on the PA would suggest his wife was at the track.

He spun with a group of other cars and with all the dirt that was blown up, he was invisible to a fast moving car that T-boned him.

he drove one of Moffat's Falcon GT's at a Calder state round in sports sedans in 1977,getting his eye in for the Bathurst 1,000,was to partner Colin Bond, withdrew due to a bike injury and Alan Hamilton drove the 2nd place car.

I met Gregg when I worked at Bolton Kawasaki and he was a nice and friendly guy. I was very saddened when I heard the news. Never liked Ford Mondeo's since that day.
