It's leaked early (in very crappy images) ahead of the official reveal tonight. Variants up to 387kw rumoured although I'll believe that when I see it.

Could this finally be a decent modern day Alfa? My guess is no but stranger things have happened…

It was a stupid comment, Alfa have produced many decent modern cars.

Depends on your definition of decent. Alfa Romeo seem to pull one out of the hat every now and again; but they are invariably flawed in some way. Kind of makes for a "missed it by that much" moment.
The 8C is a gorgeous design with a magnificent V8; but it is reported to have more chassis flex than a pole dancer which compromises the handling. It is also handicapped by an ancient gear box technology.

The 4C looks like a little gem of a thing; but doesn't shine in most credible road tests.

They could be great classics; but they always miss the mark in some way.
