so are you saying it takes 16 seconds from 250 to reach 300? very good point if so. can't see it going through the last corner at 250 if I can only do it at 190 in a race car on slicks with big aero helping me. this 300 claim is starting to stink.

Especially considering that it takes a slower cup car to travel the straight at 11seconds.

I would suggest that there is NO WAY a 458 could hit the main straight at 250kph

That there is NO WAY 16.2 secs is available on the straight.

How many times are speedos 100% accurate??
All this talk about tail wind, weight etc...couldn't it just be that if the speedo was out by 3-4% it could cause the driver to think that maybe the car did hit 301 when he was travelling close 285km/hr?
