Being a Porsche Man through and through, I can honestly say get the 650S.

They are such a weapon and at early $400's they are the best value cars around.

The 991 GT3 is an amazing car too, just no where near as fast.

For me the reason of not owning a McLaren, just because resale value, otherwise I will pick 650s anytime.

At early $400's they are fairly safe.

Only a V8 Coupe, after getting into race cars, really fast road cars became slightly irrelevant for me, the R8 is getting close to 5 years old (never owned a car anything like that long before) & just time to change. Leaning towards 650S Spider, I'm aware its so much faster than the GT3, I couldn't believe the 12C Spider it was scary fast on the street, even compared to the race cars, absolutely no scuttle shake & so easy, tractable & beautiful to drive I remember.

Fastest is not the total equation here for this purchase... sadly I lean one way then read & watch a whole lot of reviews & the GT3 gets so much praise, I'm  

In the end I'll probably back to back demo them both & hopefully that will make my mind up....thanks I'm appreciating all the comments.
