I love them, when I lived in Europe, back in the day, someone in our neighbourhood owned one (pretty new at the time) and it was always a joy to see it parked outside!

The body was made in the Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) process. Many minor variations on a the process were called slightly different names in the early days. Now it all tends to be called RTM or RTM Light.

This is the same process used by Lotus for the Esprit etc. Keeping the moulds at the correct gap to make the parts at the correct thickness is the key, which I expect in Italy was close enough.
