Has anyone seen an MC12 in person? Seen a few Enzo's, but never one of these. I remember hearing most of these went to garages that already had an Enzo...

Has anyone seen an MC12 in person? Seen a few Enzo's, but never one of these. I remember hearing most of these went to garages that already had an Enzo...

My recollection is that existing Enzo owners were given first right of refusal on the MC12's. I don't think there was a great uptake as they were a bit unloved in period. A bit like the poor 2nd cousin of the Enzo.

They were basically rebodied Enzo's , werent they?

Pretty much the case; but they also had a different interior that was a bit more lush and inkeeping with Maseratis market positioning.

I can't be stuffed looking it up; but I recall the engine was reworked a tad to favour torque over outright horsepower.

sure have... in the Enzo Ferrari museum in Modena.... stunning car in the flesh. nicer than the enzo IMO
