In the US I bet they would have a bunch of illegal Mexicans at $5 an hour doing the application to do it that cheaply.
If you think about the labour involved in masking the car up properly anddisassembling some parts, I can't see it being cheaper than a cut and wrap job.

Masking would be about a days works, if some parts had to come off then that can add time. Plus prep of the surface.

How long does a wrap job take???

Hi Everyone,
Clear Shield are the exclusive distributors of Autoflex (Colour Change) and Protect (stone chip protection).
We have stock on the water at the moment for a February release. Both products give a paint finish, with no joins, seams, edges that can lift and have no one cutting on your paint.

Clear Shield Protect & Autoflex will only be applied by professionals, with a spray booth and spray equipment that meet the required guidelines, this will ensure that owners will get the quality deserved.

I was overseas a few weeks back to see the product first hand, and it can't be compared to any other product on the market, it's truly a removable paint system that can be sanded, polished & waxed just like factory paint but can be easily removed safely. Both products are fuel resistant.

The product has been tested and proven even in the harshest conditions and is the safest method of protecting your paint from stone chips with Protect and giving you an endless choice of colours to transform your car too with Autoflex. We can match ANY OEM colour or custom mix.
It's Sprayed applied just like factory paint; there are no limitations like you have with the vinyl wrap or paint protection film products. It won't discolour as it not porous like PPF.

Clear Shield Protect will change the way you protect your paint finish from stone chips and Autoflex the way you customise the colour.

We have Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Bently, Rolls Royce, Pagani, Mercedes, Audi already using our product, so rest assure, it's ready to be applied on your beloved car.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, and I'll be more than happy to answer.

Also if you have a body shop, Spray painter that would be interested in being a Clear Shield Authorized Applicator, then have them contact us.

We will be posting photos and videos on our Instagram & Facebook account. Search clearshieldau

Have a safe and happy Christmas.
Cheers
David Iannello

Hi Trainwrewx,
This will depend on the complexity of the body shape as it will take longer to mask up and to refinish.

To give an example. A Huracan will be less them a McLaren 570S due to the design. The product cost won't change, just the labour time of application.

Once the landed cost is finalised, we can provide a more accurate price point, but pricing will be from $5000 for a full car. It is very competitive with vinyl wrap and paint protection film, which you can not compare with the quality, performance, durability and finish of Autoflex and Clear Shield Protect have.

Currently, anyone can purchase a roll of vinyl or paint protection film with no or little application skills or experience. This is why you get prices from $1200 to $6000 with different results.

Clear Shield specialises in stone chip protection, and we have been doing so for seven years. Clear Shield only apply CAD designs patterns, which we design in-house. We set a very high application standard in the industry, but we have seen very poor workmanship in the market place. These results end up costing the owner's (you) as paint are damaged due to blade cut's or have to get the product removed within a year due to the product failing (discolouration or stained) or due to incorrect fitment, lifting edges, bubbles, gaps in seams, etc.

As Autoflex & Clear Shield Protect will only be supplied to selected and qualified spray painters, who are qualified by TAFE (a government body) and will have to meet our quality standards. This will provide vehicle owners with a benchmark in quality of the application and price.

I look forward providing owners with a solution that will give you a quality result and make fellow car enthusiasts happy.

We are located in NSW in Castle Hill. You can contact us on 1300 427 465.

Yes it has a top coat. Both products can be finished off in either High Gloss or Matte finish.
It can be wet sanded and Machine polished.

The feel and finish is just like factory paint.
