Waiting to get flamed - yes the following are BMWs but....

Try driving a BMW M635CSi or E28 M5 with the M88/3 engine (from the M1) - LSD, Close ratio gearbox and an engine that still is quite awesome inspite of being close to 30+ years old! (no point suggesting an E30 M3 as they were only made in LHD unless they have been converted!)

Or a well sorted 2002tii from the 70s - they are a lot of fun even though they can look fugly to some!  :p

+1 on the M635CSi and the E28 M5! Good call.

or this - the holy grail of BMW 2002s - the 2002 Turbo!! You don't know what turbo lag is till you've driven one of these!!  :D

I don't disagree!   ;) They're what started my addiction to BMWs! I have 4 of them now! (Had as many as 9 at one stage!)

Though my wife thinks they're butt ugly! :doh:
