The time is coming when BMW will present their newest M car. It will be an M2, a car that will be a successor to the very impressive 1 series M Coupe. Of course, if we go back enough in the history books, we can find cars such as 2002 Turbo or even E30 M3 which basically are the real predecessors to this new car. New BMW M2 will be based on a rather nice looking and wonderfully executed 2 series. - See more at: http://v8.autorgy.com/tech-trends/blog/bmw-m2-will-be-the-beemer-you-ll-need-to-have#sthash.cYmOvLRe.dpuf

How close in size is it to the E46 M3? The new M4 looks big and heavy.

M Division is overdue for a home run. The new M3/4 is unloved already and the M5 is too big to be a sporty drive.

That's a nice drawing...

Best looking car in their lineup. It's awesome

It's just someone's rough guess of what a future M2 might look like.

Oh Bugger, just saw a pretty picture and got excited.  Personally since e46 BMW's styling has been a little too avant garde for me to warm to.  But if that m2 looks like that would be awesome.

While were talking BMW what's up with the 4 series. I thought that was supposed to be the coupe version of the 3 series yet I'm seeing 435 4 doors everywhere around here?

could be to compete with the a5, as a I recall the a5 initially came out in 2 door and later came out as a 4 door as well

There are many M2 renders lurking ATM. The OP image is more like the M235i cup car.

I like this one, likely to be closer to the real deal, and the Laguna seca blue is a peach.
