I was actually in Melbourne with BMW Aus last week and can tell you there is no word of an M2 coming in 2015 at least. The only new M vehicles this year is the X5M and X6M.

While were talking BMW what's up with the 4 series. I thought that was supposed to be the coupe version of the 3 series yet I'm seeing 435 4 doors everywhere around here?
The plan was odd numbers are 4 door and the even numbers were to be 2 door, but they saw the market for the 4 and 6 Series Gran Coupe - and it was a good decision.

I like the idea of going back to their grassroots small car big engine, huge fun factor! Look forward to it.

but then isnt a 4 door 4 series just a 3 series?
but maybe by their logic we'll get a 2 door 3 series back and the M3 lineage wont be lost.

It's pretty moronic imo.

It definitely won't be this year.

If its going to be a lo-volume built car like the 1M  (3,000) be a nice unit to own from a rarity value.

I'd have bought a 1M if they were still built instead of the A45.
