There definitely seems to be a more uniform approach to headlights and taillights.  They need to lift their game with making their cars more luxurious inside and out though, think that's where they've lost out to Mercedes in recent years.

Without a doubt.  The new 5-Series (revealed at Paris I think) and 3-Series (due in 2019) generations are crucial to BMW's fortunes in the next 5 years

BMW also need to expand their M range I think... get an M7, 1-Series M car and maybe even an X3 M for the next generation and watch their sales go up.  They make such good drivers cars but aren't representing themselves in markets where other brands are flourishing
