Scott and his wife flip houses in Vegas, I suspect the real money comes from his TV show, books and seminars though.

We've flipped houses there over the last few years, unlike here there is no stamp duty to worry about which is appealing, but post GFC the market is rebounding so deals are harder to find at the moment.

How has the supposed water crisis affected prices in Las Vegas?

Its funny, it hasn't.

Sale prices are up 26% on average over the last 3 years. There don't seem to be any signs its slowing down right now. In most cases, houses are selling for over list price. Keep in mind they are still a long way off the heady pre GFC prices. Some areas of Vegas are fairing better than others, so it depends on where you are investing.

There aren't anywhere near as many foreclosed homes as there were in 09/10 when I started, mostly a combination of short sale / owner sales. This lack of discounted stock may also be playing a part in propping up prices, but there does seem to be more confidence there.
