My place I just sold the blocks are 12m wide but extremely long. So I hear everything my neighbors do. I love my neighbors they actually cried when we said we were selling. They even let me use their yard during the construction of the house.

I've also lived next to an absolute arse who called the cops on me for parking out the front of his house on the road haha

I'm not the sociable type. I deal with people all day long in a stressful environment. When I get home I want them as far away from me as possible.

Agreed.

Similar to goober comments. People suck.

The world would be a fantastic place If it weren't for the people.

Haha fair enough. If I could afford it I would be on a nice block away from people as well.

As long as they don't try to be all buddy buddy and want to know your business. It's good to get along with them for things like using their property to get things in or out maybe some extra parking for a family event.

I'm sure the neighborhood thinks I'm an "underbelly " type with all the walls, security cameras and expensive cars that appear/disappear behind a big electric gate. There are a few genuine underbelly types in my area, so it's a natural assumption.  If that keeps 'em away it suits me fine.

We are on a hammerhead block and have 6 adjoining neighbours. Fortunately, they are all great. I could ring any one of them in the middle of the night and they would be right there, but we don't socialise with them particularly. Most have been there 10 plus years. At my beach apartment, it's the same. We keep to ourselves but always help out when asked. I'm happiest in my own company but still enjoy the proximity of neighbours. I like people - which helps in my line of work. :)

Meeting women on the Internet? Remember, the more similarities u “magically” have, & the more she agrees with u, the fucking crazier she is.

My mum has great neighbours.  they help her heaps with maintenance when needed.  If they are mowing their lawns and notice mums nature strip and front lawn getting a bit long they just go ahead and do it.

If I'm there and someone is out the front we would often share a beer.

They are great but not too in your face which is perfect

Well it seems there is a bit of support for reporting the dogs.  I'll sit on it for a bit.

Just for the record as well, if I'm out in the street we're talking 10 minutes max (I never even use 1 pack). And it's probably been 4 times in the last month.

She also whinged at me last month about my leaf blower. But no insults or threats like I received yesterday

I just enquired about CCTV then got into door and window alarms..........don't think I could be bothered but I would use the stickers warning the doors are alarmed but the stickers would need to be in the name of a company otherwise its fairly obvious they're fake.
