What gearbox have you got? I've got the original 4 Which is too highly geared for highway but beautiful for blasts through the hills.

Hey?
I love my car. Buy your own

I don't think any carby 308 GTB or GTS worth owning would be sub $100k now.
Gee's, I'm almost at break even point Scottski.  Perhaps I should sell. ;)

Took a friend out for a drive today up to the Dandenongs and saw 4 F cars which was nice to see.  He really enjoyed driving the car after a few gear crunches.

Your not doing it right ...
been there a few times.

1st was in about 1963 in a green FHC, my father bought of the Leech brothers ,it had been worked on,coming into Ballarat i looked across at the speedo area just on a similar speed.

2nd time in about 1970 in a low mile FHC 4.2 back blocks of Portarlington.

3rd time ,my own 4.2 FHC on the road from Hobart to Devonport  mid '80s just on 143 mph.

4th time the black car blowing of a Ferrari 365 GTC/4 on the flat plains of NSW .

There nice at that speed if set up correct...big sway front ,thick torsion bars ,lowered down and stiff in the front end with the rear softer but firmer then standard. Oh and wider wheels.

I've driven a standard car on old style tyres at about 120 mph ......frightning.
