Oil change, go to repco or supercheap and do it yourself for ~$150 lol

A little more involved with newer cars, but Ferrari Sydney gives free schedule servicing for free for 5 years anyway lol.

Cars are simple, not having a go at anyone, but being a mechanic isn't exactly brain surgery, main dealers tend to make it sound harder (and more expensive) than it is, and that goes for all brands not just exotics.

A good mechanic with sd2/3 access can do anything on a 360 as good or better than a dealer. Fly all your parts in from North America or Europe and get the cost down further if you aren't pressed for time.

If I had spare time I'd do all the work myself. I only take my cars to "professionals" because of lack of time. At least if I do it myself, I know it's been done properly. That's of corse if you are one that has a mechanical mind and enjoys working things out yourself.  Having said that almost everything you ever have to do on a 360 (even to rebuild them from the ground up) is available online. With Google and YouTube you can accomplish anything lol

Therein lies the problem, we are sold the notion that the dealer is the only one to fix it, there are plenty of independents out there who can do it.

The dealer will say its a specialist job, my 20 cents is that sure a Ferrari is designed by a mental giant but assembled by a bloke who possibly can't even read or write….that being the case we mere mortals can pull it apart and repair it.

The old dealer in SA was hopeless at best, the new dealer is fucking hopeless at best. There is the case of the current FCA SA president who took a 308GTB to the new dealer for a service (belts etc), after some 2-3 months the car was taken to an independent because the dealer didn't know or have the staff to do it.

I'm staggered it's that cheap to service a 360 if it's done by the book. I do mean by the book! Not just an oil change.
you and I have discussed this at Carl's a few weeks ago - you have a short memory

I haven't forgotten, that's why I don't believe you can do a service by the book for those figures.
I love my car. Buy your own

annual service sounds about right ($1k), my last major in 2012 cost $2.5k. Still too low for you?
