Oh, that's my .5 - I now have a crappy stock one that I'll just run into the ground, and a speedy mint turbo one that I'll do up.

Speaking of car reviews - been moving house last few days and uncovered a bunch of 70's mags with X1/9 reviews in them... all say the same thing, great to drive and awesome handling, but couldn't pull the skin off a sundried tomato.

actually...i've never driven one...now that i think about it.

Too hard to find a good one worth driving nowadays.  They suffer just as badly from deferred maintenance as a contemporary Ferrari, but the maintenance costs are proportionally much higher than a Ferrari (given vehicle value) so there's a large contingent of Fiat guys who get too poor/don't see the value in keeping them up to scratch.
