Everyone of the Esprits they have listed is the wrong MY for the year they list.

The red one is listed as an '88 but the chargecooled SE only came out in '89.
The white one also listed as an '88 has the XJ220 side mirrors which were only fitted from March '89 onwards. Same with the red one above.
The V8 is listed as a 1996 but it has the '98 onwards wing and interior and it has the early V8 Saturn wheels which makes  it a '98MY as it's the only MY that had the early wheels with the later wing and interior.

Well that's weird! I've heard of people claiming the car's newer than it really is, but older? That's a first!

It just shows their lack of product knowledge.

All the money is in the cash paid for the seminars ... the classic cars are just a side show to keep the dummies (sorry - "investors"!) busy while they pull the wool over their eyes.

There will be some excluded liability clauses for sure ... wouldn't surprise me if all the ownership and costs for the cars rest with the investors and these guys are just acting as agents in the middle.

It just shows their lack of product knowledge.

Hopefully potential buyers know what they're doing.

Yeah agree ... the V8 is absolutely 100% a 1998 minimum.  In the overview they call it a 1998, but when you click to the detail it's all 1996.

Plus ... $95k is totally ridiculous expectation.

Overpriced or good value?

http://supercarsecrets.com.au/shop/item/6647027
The SE is the most desirable Steven's pre-Thompson Esprit. That LOOKS to be in good nick, although one wonders what kind of jolt did it get to lose its rear left centre wheel cap.
If it was an Aust del car with 38km in perfect condition, then yes, great value.
0-100kph in 4.7sec, turbo chargecooled, very light, easily upgradable bhp just by changing ECU chips.
