Once I'm back in Aus I will be going to check them out. Trade the Lexus in for one as it won't be busting my bank account either.

I rather the rs4 over the rs3. And I like the cla over the c63 wagon.

CLA is a good thing, had a look at the Shooting break the other day when at the dealership, I really like it.

Going for the AMG spec?

Is the Pope Catholic?

Thinking white with standard wheels and if I get bored will powder coat them at work.

Will do. Thanks for the tip. I just want to drive it and see if the ball and chain will be happy with it, especially with a new born

For $30-35k, you can pick up a low-km second-hand Scirocco R, and $50k for a new one. I personally think they're a great looking car. Same engine as a Golf R (188kW, 330nm) and does 0-100 in 6 seconds flat - certainly not earth-shattering, but a quick car for the money

I was looking at these and at one point seriously considering it, but interior is a bit benign, viability out the back is shit, for the same sort of money get a second hand RS Focus.
