4 XJ220's in Australia.

2 x silver, brought in by Jaguar themselves and sold new in Aust. Road registered, etc. One was crashed badly in QLD. Repaired. The other one is in Melbourne, used to be driven daily. The owner bought it at auction in Sydney about 6 years ago. I missed out on the auction (found out about it) 2 days after. It only had 5,000km and it sold for only $235k

Wow. Only thought there was the Fox and Private import one.

As blunt as I may sound, I say this with all empathy, you missed out on a modern bargain considering the 180k+ euro they're selling for on the international markets, and that's without Australia's LCT/GST. But, you never know, owners come and go, but their cars remain, maybe another will show up for sale soon, good luck.

There was this RHD model at classic adelaide a few years ago...

from memory it was being imported to NZ but stopped off here for the rally.
i sortof remember hearing it hit a cliff face in the hills on the rally and damage the front but dont know what happened from there...

AFAIK it was a normal repair shop that repaired it.....

Let me get this right, someone bought the only undamaged original Aussie delivered xj220 with 5000km in 2005 and daily drove it?!
he needs his head checked!
