Yep, completely agree its probably 5-8K overpriced, but its probably a future classic in my books,  a Low Km example could be a lot of fun and hold Value.

The TVR was a joke.... When you read up how the best ones to buy second hand are the ones with the motor already replaced, I know its not for me !!!  ugly as sin from some angles too  :scared:

Ok its no SV, but low Km s2000 examples have actually being going up in value... I remember about 5 years ago looking and 50-60K Km ones were going for around $35K  now they are around $45K so I think its a fair call..

It isnt going to do a Shamal and double in price in 2 years, but I think a low km good nick one would do ok.

I'm not on the same page. No limited production, not particularly special, quick, great handling nor iconic. Looks like a bubble at 45K and if you hold long enough then perhaps you get the same dollars... but they just aren't special enough to be collectible within the next 10 years.

If you do get one intending to hold for 10 years to get your money back, then why get it if you'll feel bad putting K's on it?

ok Maybe I'm looking at it wrong or my intentions arn't as high as some here.

I thought buy it 40-50k Km sell it after weekender for 5 years with 75-80Km get money back....

Thats all.

If I buy 911 say late 996 with 50-70K Km my guess is when I get it to 80- 100K Km  Im' going to loose 10 K$ minimum.  I dont know.....

Here is one you can pick up cheap, used to own a 2002 model auto coupe than upgrade to a 2005 TT manual.

996 3.6 goes well better than the 3.4 for that time and never gave me trouble.

You might pick it up low 30s just to kick it around for a few years.   

If you have 100K+ you can get a decent 996TT manual they go well and make sure get 2004+ with GPS.
