At least it wont have an IMS issue

Could be the last of your worries, at 400K Km your looking at what,  2nd set of suspension overhaul, every bush control arm etc, all the boots and every bearing it has,  I mean what wont possibly need replacing at 400k KM!!!

The garage that stamped the logbook would be an issue for me.

actually it all depends on the owner.

there is a guy in the USA who has a 993TT with those sort of K's on it and apparently still tight as a drum (according to others) because it's obviously maintained well.

but yes, I too would avoid a car with those sort of KM's

My old man was a taxis driver for about 18 months when I was very young so 42 years ago or so...  He said the car was virtually never cold as they would swap the car at the end of the shift between the drivers.....  his had 500K Km but mentioned the steering was very loose in an old XD Falcon....

Its not typical mileage at all..... but still Farked!!!
