If you're going to patronise me then at least do it in an off-topic thread.

So you haven't imported a car, or owned a Ferrari....

Have you at least been to the UK before?

Have you bought your own car before?

Otherwise I don't know why you'd give advice when you haven't gone through it...
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

I've done it all!

Don't bother. There are cars here you can buy and drive quicker and cheaper than a RAWS import.

I'm sorry, but I was only trying to compile objective information and resources and was not attempting to provide advice.

Think outside the box!!!! You are just talking yourself out of it!!!!!

Don't do that!! Talk yourself into it!!! That's the only way you go from being an average Joe to having some sort of success.......

This thread got a bit humid and stuffy so much testosterone being pissed up the walls!  To cool things down, on the topic of Testarossa importation, check out what i saw at Complete Car care (where i had my esprit complied).   its in great nick too.

Hi all,  currently running a 911 cabrio but always wanted a Gallardo.  In 2015 the wife and I are planning on a  6 month holiday/retirement living in Spain/France, and touring around Europe.

Got me thinking of perhaps buying a UK car when I am over there, first look I am guessing on spending around $100k, then bringing it back and getting it complied etc.

Can anyone either let me know roughly what costs etc etc. are involved or point me to a site I can research it myself.

cheers

Six months each won't cut it either.
