Someone I know *cough* is getting some drumming noises (ie. whooom whooom whooom type sound  :tilt:) and high intensity vibration whenever the brake is applied at medium pressure. Suspect 'heat spots' or 'warping' of the discs.

MHH, if you get a chance, would you mind taking a photo of your front brake disc? I'd like to see how the wear pattern is like.

I'd hope so.  I've always found them honest.

I think they are for the most part...but need to challenge their opinions to ensure they stay honest IMHO.

yea....I kinda regret it, not fully...but a bit...ever since I bought the M5, 2 x 996 GT3 has come on the market for a max of $120k...... :doh:

still love the M5 though  :thumbsup: ..any thoughts on the condition of the brake disc?

i'm not an expert, but to me, it looks ok.

take it to a brake place and maybe they can grind them (not machine)
