This is pretty much for you Rob, since your an expert on these leathers.

The cream leather in my Bentley gets stained instantly, regardless of what I wear. And if I wear jeans or just dark coloured cotton pants, forget it.
Yet the cream leather in the Lambo is fine, cream leather in the Rovers I had, as well as the Fords was fine. The WHITE leather in the Lexus is fine, regardless of what I wear and how much I rub on it.

What do you suggest?
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

Leather can be tanned or painted. It's possible there's a difference between the two seats. Although I would have thought both would be tanned.

Need to be careful ,as certain hide products will stain  or change the colour of the cream leather.

You need a CLEANING product not conditioner .

Keep away from any saddle soaps as there harsh.

In my old Vogue, which has cream leather,I use to clean the Meguiar's leather cleaning product...cleans well, conditions the leather and has a nice smell.

keep away from the Connolly hide food,to hard to apply, plus it won't clean.

I'd go to a horse saddle shop and ask, just be careful ,as many horse leather products will darken the leathers colour/stain.

Try using a product on a part of the seat, that is hidden  ie rear seat swab.

Horeland have great products including the oakwood products, which i use on the Rangie.

Why does the Bentley stain so easily compared to the others?

Just be the process of how Connolly apply the dye/tanning,perhaps the others have a sealant over the colouring?

I should also add....I've had a couple of cars with light coloured cream trim, all have stained,I've always put it down to light trim,no different to a white shirt to a dark coloured one.

Geez Rob. After all your big talking I expected a long and interesting answer. After all, you had enough hides for 10 rolls royces! I didn't expect you to have no idea! How disappointing.

Bloody good question Andrei. If you ever find the answer, I have a friend with a 360 who would love to know. It annoys the hell out of him.
I love my car. Buy your own

My dad has owned a leather clothing business for 40 years. I'll pitch him the question.
I know it's different leather, but the answer might be the same
