That s what collectors are for... some you keep (GT3 RS, 993 C4S in manuals,)
Some come and go, so this one is going, to be replaced by a white one next year.

Supply is limited, and demand high. Car collecting and buying and selling is like
hedging on currency, property or stock markets. As you know the 430 Scud 18 month ago
was 270- 290 whole sale, and now is worth 100k more than that. Should have got that one- dammmm.

If I could have bought all 5 GT3 RS 4.0 that landed in Oz I would have. One would have been
a track car, and the other 4 in a garage for 3 years, that would have appreciated by probably 30%. So
great ROI. All 5 were pre sold before public got hold of it.
Yeah, there are a few bucks to be made, but this is secondary, I really want a different colour.
And if I made a few quid long the way, gees, that's a story in itself.....

Hey, what do you reckon will be the 'next' car- was going to put my money on the 4C but chickened out
cause of over seas reviews. Bought the 275 Trophy R.... so that s coming in December. That s a track car, so
will be a keeper.

Did you see the NSX on carsales last week 0 91 model with original 2002 Type R body work, 53k on the clock.
Sold for 60 k. Sold within 4 hours, I arranged an inspection for the next am, but gone. Rare as the preverbal rocking horse....

Hey Alpine I see you have a CLK 63 Black, love that car. Held up well with values past 4 years 160 k plus, just started to dip to 120 wholesale this year, but in theory will go back up, so good choice, especially in Black .

Cheers mate. Got to drive one on the track, and man.... it goes side ways every time you look in a corner.... fun car. And tough as nails. All the C63s were over heating and or brakes had it, and this CLK BLACK went lap after lap after lap until the tyres fried....
Great engineering on the Blacks, way way way better than standard AMGs.
